Martha Collins’s eleventh book of poetry is Casualty Reports (Pittsburgh, 2022); her tenth, Because What Else Could I Do, won the Poetry Society of America's William Carlos Williams Award. Her previous books of poetry include the paired volumes Day Unto Day and Night Unto Night and a trilogy of books that focus on race: Blue Front, White Papers, and Admit One: An American Scrapbook. She has also published two chapbooks, Gone So Far and Sheer.
